Lake Palestine is approximately 25,500 surface acres of water with roughly 125 shoreline miles within a piney woods East Texas setting.  It is a fishing and recreational lake with a number of marinas.   It has a wide variety of wildlife including the bald and golden eagle, osprey, fox, mountain lion, coyote, road runner, wide variety of migrating and domestic birds, raccoon, etc... It has a mixture of neighborhoods ranging from exclusive golfing/waterfront communities to mobil home lake communities.  You name the price.  It has a large dam on the south end near Berryville and spans to Chandler.
